One of the common concerns people face as they get older is the risk of falling and suffering severe injury. Clements, a personal trainer, yoga instructor, and movement specialist, puts together a ten-week plan whereby people can reinvigorate their balance by incorporating simple activities into their daily lives. She begins by addressing elements of correct posture, then outlines exercises that can be implemented into everyday activities such as brushing teeth, doing the dishes, or walking through the house. Neurological balance exercises are included as well as tips for falling well. VERDICT These excellent illustrated instructions that can easily be performed will help seniors increase their strength and avoid injury.
