To atone for his sins, Lexander has sworn to free all slaves by destroying pleasure houses throughout the world. He razes Vidaris to the ground, knowing that word of his betrayal will reach his fellow masters, and that he will be branded a renegade and hunted down.
Determined to aid Lexander at any cost, Marja accompanies Lexander into one den of iniquity after another, infiltrating the slave quarters, willing to endure hardship and pain and even the loss of Lexander’s love in order to sow the seeds of revolution.
