《婚恋幽梦》的结构采用九九归一的终结法，所以有九章，每章有九节，共八十一节，也可以认为是八十一章。通篇开始于左铭与玲佳的恋爱结婚终结于左铭的死亡，这正如红楼梦里所说"终须一个土馒头"，意在提醒人们慎重选择婚姻，用心培育婚姻，幸福享受婚姻，因为人生很短，婚姻更短，但婚姻对人的伤害最大，是摧毁精神家园的直接力量。
